Harry D. Cuffage is a 72 year old American who was the oldest of ten children. Growing up money was tight most of the time but the house was full of life. From early on he learned about hard work, being accountable, showing civility, and loving his country. The years on the farm and moving between different homes taught him things he never forgot. The good times, the hard times, and his parents guidance all shaped him.
He spent 35 years in public service working for the American people. After that he worked another ten years with contractors supporting the federal government. He never forgot where he came from or the values he was raised with. He raised three children of his own and later enjoyed time with his grandchildren. Even today he still thinks about family, faith, and living a decent life.
In his books Harry tells stories from his childhood, shows respect for the strength of women, and speaks honestly about reason, ethics, and traditional American values. He hopes his own kids and grandkids, and other readers too, will see why these things still matter. He believes America needs more civility and personal responsibility if we want to stay strong for the generations coming after us.
